Its solutions connect people to trading partners, and enable business document exchange, such as bookings, bills of lading, and status messages; regulatory compliance and customs filing; route planning and wireless dispatch; inventory and asset visibility; rate management; transportation management; and warehouse optimization. The company provides tariff and contract publishing services to ocean carriers, non-vessel operating common carriers, and shippers; and operates as an electronic exchange that enables air carriers and air freight forwarders to automate the booking process. It also provides electronic freight booking services to manage air cargo shipment lifecycle, as well as offers online cargo reservation system where air carriers and freight forwarders can complete electronic air cargo bookings; and customs compliance technology that helps shippers, transportation providers, freight forwarders, and other logistics intermediaries. In addition, it provides mapbased routing software that combines with wireless, GPS, and automated call-out technology to help small- and medium-sized organizations in the home delivery and distribution industries. Further, the company involves in fleet management business, which includes the provision of software-as-a-service routing and scheduling technology. It serves air, ocean, and truck transportation providers; third party intermediaries, including third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs house brokers; and distribution-sensitive companies. It offers its products through direct sales force in North America and Europe; through channel partners in the Asia Pacific, Indian subcontinent, and African regions; and through distributors, alliance partners, and value-added resellers internationally. The company was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Waterloo, Canada.
